Show and Tell

Usually David takes Suzie to preschool and I pick her up. This morning he did not get home from work until 3AM so I took her to school. Normally David leaves Zachy at home because Zachy is usually still dozing. Of course today Zach was bright eyed and bushy haired so he came with us. Suzie decided that she needed to Show and Tell Zach to her fellow Pee-Wee's. She tells everyone that he is "Her Baby". She corrects anyone that refers to Zachy as her brother, "This is my baby". She is so serious about it. Love it.

Zachy is really getting into everything now. Here are a few examples of Zachy's adventures.
Hmmmm What is under here?

Did he find something?

Woohoo!! A prize!

Very proud of himself

Still proud

See that little green Lego box? Zachy scooted it over and then climbed on it.

Hi Mommy! I see you!

Weeeee!!!

Hi Mommy! Can you help me get down?
Suzie has also been invited to her first birthday party. This will be her first friend party and not a family friend party. I am nervously excited for the party. I am assuming that parents stay at parties for 2-3 year olds? It will be interesting to see how she does with giving gifts and not being able to open anything herself. We picked out a neat Melissa and Doug bowling game. I LOVE Melissa and Doug products.

David asked if I was going to blog about him. I really have nothing noteworthy to say. He did replace some light bulbs for me - which was wonderful! Oh! He also changed the Diaper Genie! Yuck!

  1. Stay at the party - you'll be needed when she (and all the other 2 yr olds) try to "help" open the presents. I've yet to see a birthday party with kids that young that didn't have them all crowded around the birthday gal/guy so close you couldn't get a wedge in between them.

I swear your son reminds me SO much of Olivia. They are almost on the exact same timetable doing the exact same things right now. She is climbing things, getting into everything and so proud of herself for making a mess. My OT told me she was as active as a young boy - she can't stand to sit still anymore. I wish we could get them together for a playdate.
How many hours away from Beaufort SC are you?? :)
