Today was so awesome! I was allowed to stay in bed - without kids - until 7:30! It was wonderful!! If I had the sleeping ability of David I would have been able to stay asleep but it is hard for me to sleep through someone crying for 'Mommy' and someone else banging on the air intake metal cover. It was still heavenly to be able to be lazy and stay in bed.
Zach is continuing to work on his walking. We bought him one of those little push toys that have the popping balls in them. He will take a few balancing steps forward and backwards while holding the toy. It is great to watch these small achievements slowly stack into a bigger goal. He is also working on ways to tackle his sister. It is funny to watch them together. When she is sitting in 'his' chair he will climb into it and sit next to her until she moves.
We went on a few errands and decided to be lazy and get corn dogs for lunch. The kids were in HEAVEN!
Suzie wanted to give Henry a bite but we talked her out of it. Henry was relieved.
After naps and play time Zachy was literally falling asleep while he was playing. I think he was transfixed by the laces. Poor guy had a short nap thanks to someone and was just worn out.
Tomorrow I am once again going to tackle the play room. I hope I make it out!
