The Good, The Bad and The Nifty

On Tuesday David was fortunate to get a bonus at work. We were so excited!! He needed a new pair of boots for work and I needed/wanted a couple shirts. On Wednesday, my car, the one David uses to drive 100 (round trip) miles to work and home each day, broke down at work. Wouldn't start and it wasn't something easy like the battery. So there goes his bonus. Boo. On the other hand, we are very very lucky that David received the extra money so that we could spend it on the car.  So that is the good and the bad.

The nifty is super nifty! Zachy's EI (Early Intervention) coordinator brought over a different push toy for Zachy to try. It is smaller than the one he has right now and I thought it might work better. Boy did it ever!! He is pushing it all over, will pick it up off the floor to try to move it when it is stuck. He hasn't actually succeeded in moving it by picking it up but he is super trying. He is able to back it up though so it is wonderful!

THEN

He was sitting in his brown chair and kept trying to stand up on his own - like free stand!! Hot diggity! Of course when he finally totally stood up he wiped out.

I love my chair!!!

Hmm let's try standing up.... 

Wiiiipe out!! 

After his wipe out he had to take a break from standing so he decided to take sanctuary in his favorite spot - the fireplace. That is his go to spot. He LOVES sitting on the bricks.

After a while he finally came back into the living room but on the way in he decided to grab a pair of Suzie's undies out of the laundry basket. I am still trying to decide if this is weird or not...
