Costco and heat

We went to Costco today primarily because I really wanted a Costco hotdog. It may sounds weird but I really love their hotdogs and they are SO cheap! Suzie loves going any place as a family. We call it "An Adventure!" and she thinks it is fabulous! We were doing great with our hotdogs until Suz saw the grandma at the table next to us eating ice-cream. So we ended up sharing an ice-cream bar. They are as amazing as the hotdogs.

Taking Zach to Costco in the summer time has been treacherous in the past. Last summer my mom was here visiting and we went to Costco. Zach started getting really red and was getting very sluggish. I went into the cooler and he instantly perked up. This was before I knew how sensitive he truly was to heat. Now we only take Z to Costco when it is below 75 outside and even then we go into the walk in produce area mid-trip just to make sure he is cool enough.

Since it was so nice today I was able to take both kids outside to play. Suzie played with her trike and Zach practiced walking on the lawn, sidewalk and driveway. Suzie saw some boys playing across the street and wanted to go play with them. She really didn't play with them - but it was nice to expand our horizons.

Well tomorrow brings a fresh round of PT and hopefully finding a pool for the backyard. I think it would be great for the kids to be able to swim and play in a pool that is deep enough for them to actually move.
